When did you become a Pit Boss and what was the driving force behind your decision to become one?

I officially became a Pit Boss when the Online Casino went live in September of 2005. The driving force behind my decision, was our Casino Manager, Linda. She convinced me that the Phantom Online Casino would be an experience I would not want to miss, so this offer and my love of helping people, was something I could not say no to.

What has been the most rewarding experience of this position?

The most rewarding, is helping the players find their way around the Casino, and help with the questions they may have.

What part of the Country are you from?

I was born and raised on the West Coast, in Southern California.

Do you have a favorite game in the Casino? What is it (or they)?

Well, my first love, are the slots. It's difficult to pick a favorite one there. I've become a fan of Let It Ride on the tables, and recently, trying to sharpen my Hold'em skills.

What has been the craziest scenario you have seen in the Casino (that you can tell us about)?

Craziest for me, was when the server went live. I had just managed to get my computer hardware upgraded to where I could run the games, 2 days before it went live. I then "lived" in the casino, learning my way around so when I worked my first shift the next day, I could answer the questions that would be addressed to me. LOL I was still very green and the feeling of being the "new person" stays fresh in my mind to this day. Second craziest scenario(s), update mornings! lol

Favorite song and band?

Favorite song has to be The Rain Song, by my favorite Band, Led Zepplin.

How often have you forgotten or mixed up the /g or /r ? Fess up!

I learned a long time ago, the /r is dangerous lol When working a shift, I tend to use the /tell command more than /r, which is easily "hijacked" when having to do multiple pm's. The /g??? shoot, I send instructions meant for players to my guild all the time lol The beginning of emails, instant messages, all seem to start with /g nowdays...can't figure that one out lol

Phantom has obviously become a part of your life, would you say that you agree that the"People Factor" is half the attraction of the Casino Experience?

The "People Factor" is a huge part of the attraction for me. I've been interacting with people online for a long time now and it's very hard to imagine playing computer games without that people factor. It's was brings me in to the Casino, everyday :)

Personally I think that all the PB's have the patience of a Saint, what would you say is your strongest virtue?

I think patience has to be the first thing a pit boss must have. Without patience, and understanding, then the communication can be flawed.

How did you get into online gaming? How did you find out about Phantom?

I got into online gaming as a hobby, being a stay at home mom, I found online gaming a form of entertainment that was easily accessible in my spare time. I found out about Phantom, in 2004, when Linda approached me about the online venture. I had not played casino games much up to that point, but once I was tried the first slot download, I was hooked.

Have you ever played any online games in the past and if so , what were they?

I started playing games online, in 1997, with a game called Front Page Sports Golf, which became the PGA Championship Golf series, by Sierra Sports. I first started moderating with this game in 1998 and working with Linda.

What does your family think about Phantom, do they play as well?

From what my family has seen, they think the Phantom games are great! My husband doesn't play the games, as I've usually have the computers tied up playing myself, and my daughter will play the slots occasionally offline.

How do they feel about you being a PitBoss?

They are totally supportive. This is my area of interest, and while my hubby doesn't play online, he has taken the time to meet some of the people I have met since we've been online.

I've always wanted to take an Alaskan Cruise.

Pete Puma when I was a kid, recently I've taken a liking to Spongebob Squarepants lol
