When did you become a Pit Boss and what was the driving force behind your decision to become one?

I became a Pit Boss in May of this year. The driving force would have to be JimEFX. He was very convincing and told me I would make a good P.B. because of my profession (elementary school teacher) J. I didn’t turn in my application right away, and he kept after me to do it. Needless to say, here I am! Hehehehe… I had to get him off my back…just kidding JimEFX.

What has been the most rewarding experience of this position?

The most rewarding aspect of this position is being able to help someone to their satisfaction and meeting all the interesting people that play online.

What part of the Country are you from?

I am originally from San Diego, CA, but I now reside in the Chicago, Illinois area.

Do you have a favorite game in the Casino? What is it (or they)?

I have quite a few favorites. I would have to say my all time favorite would be the poker (Texas Hold’Em, Seven Card Stud and Chicago Hi/Lo….Omaha is the thorn in my side, but I still play it from time to time. Hehe). I am just now getting into the slots and my favorites so far are Dracula, Wild Power, and Fishin’ Fortune.

What has been the craziest scenario you have seen in the Casino (that you can tell us about)?

I would have to say fielding all the questions in the lobby and in pm after the server goes down or after a new download. That gets a bit crazy and nerve wracking. Keeping everyone straight and not mixing pm’s and messages is very challenging. My Fingers are usually numb by the end of the shift.

Favorite song and band?

I am terrible with names of bands and titles to songs, but I love alternative, hard, and pop rock. I also am a closet country western fan, but I rarely let anyone know that….so please…don’t say a word to anyone…this is just between you and me.

How often have you forgotten or mixed up the /g or /r ? Fess up!

Hmmm…. I must say it is a daily occurrence. I try not to and have started getting into the habit of typing /tell.

Phantom has obviously become a part of your life, would you say that you agree that the "People Factor" is half the attraction of the Casino Experience?

For me, it is the main attraction. I truly enjoy all the people I have met online and joking around with them. It makes the gaming so much more interesting.

Personally I think that all the PB's have the patience of a Saint, what would you say is your strongest virtue?

I would have to say it is a combination of things. I enjoy helping people and making them feel comfortable. I also seem to have a knack for calming some people down when they may be stressed or upset. I am a good listener as well, and I have noticed that sometimes someone just needs to vent and then they are fine. Patience above all is key

How did you get into online gaming? How did you find out about Phantom?

Oddly enough, my husband got me into online gaming. The game he got me to play was IPT and I was hooked.

Have you ever played any online games in the past and if so , what were they?

Nope, they never interested me before.

What does your family think about Phantom, do they play as well?

My husband is ok with it and my parents think it is interesting.

How do they feel about you being a PitBoss?

They all seem fine with it…the hubby rolls his eyes from time to time, but I just figure he is doing eye exercises.

If you could win a brand new vehicle, what would it be?

A Mercedes SUV would be nice, but at this point I would be happy with a car that has no engine problems

If you could win an all expense paid vacation- where would you choose to go?

I would love to go to New Zealand and Australia. I have always been fascinated with those two countries.
